This was the art work for my 2nd matte painting. It is a 2d image. Although i wanted to animate it, but because of the problems with animating its water, i decided to keep it as a still. The idea was to create a night shot of the skyscrapers out of the natural rocks . I visualized it as a city along the sea side, amongst the cliffs. The most challenging part was creating the fusion the rocky mountains and the modern city . Critiques are welcome.
